Rules, Prizes & Copyright

Exposure comes first. Cash prizes are a bonus. Weekly contests run in the TK Talent Show App, plus surprise Pop-Up Live Recorded events streaming on TV/OTT.

Overview

TK Talent Show is a weekly, community-voting showcase for undiscovered and independent talent (singers, dancers, rappers, comedians, poets, visual artists, and more). Upload your performance, share with your 3Fs — Fans, Family, Friends — and gather verified votes.

Weekly schedule: A new contest begins every Sunday at 12:00 AM ET. Voting closes each Saturday at 11:30 PM ET, with the winner announced around 11:45 PM ET. No submissions during the reset window (11:45 PM–12:00 AM ET).

Notice: Top Kat (“Top Kat” / “TK”) may disqualify or ban at its sole discretion for rule disputes, disruptive behavior, or claims that conflict with posted terms. All decisions are final.

Policy Update (Effective Immediately)

Audio + single-image/cover-art videos using your own original content (song/music/voice) are eligible for cash prizes. Face is not required. Minimum video length: 1 minute. Drawings and tattooing should be a live screen recording (digital) or a live video recording (physical). All videos must clearly relate to a listed talent.

Not accepted: podcasts, interviews, talk shows, reaction clips, random clips, and non-talent content.

Top Kat may disqualify or ban at its sole discretion for rule disputes, disruptive behavior, or claims that conflict with posted terms.

Talent Eligibility & Content Guidelines

Minimum video length: 1 minute. Face optional. Entry must clearly relate to a talent category and be your original content or properly licensed. Audio + single image/cover art with your original track is permitted and prize-eligible. Visual artists must show the creation process.

Eligible Talent Examples

  • Singing, rapping, spoken word/poetry
  • Dancing or choreographed movement
  • Comedy/skits/stand-up (original material)
  • Magic, juggling, variety/circus skills
  • Instrument performance, DJing, live production
  • Producers/beatmakers (original music; audio+image OK)
  • Visual arts: drawing, tattooing, painting, digital art (record the creation process)
  • Performance art or dramatic monologues

Not Accepted

  • Podcasts, interviews, talk shows, commentary-only audio
  • Reaction videos, random clips, memes
  • Crowd footage with no talent connection
  • Gaming/stream highlights without a performance element
  • Sports attempts or casual footage without a clear talent performance
  • Third-party content without rights

Top Kat may review, reclassify, reject, remove, or disqualify entries that don’t meet these guidelines or violate law. Proof of ownership/licenses may be requested.

Participation & Age

Age: Open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older, or who will turn 18 within seven (7) months of entry. Where required by law, participation and/or prize eligibility for entrants who are not yet 18 may be conditioned on verified parental/guardian consent and/or prize deferral until eligible. Void where prohibited.

Participation constitutes acceptance of these Rules & Prizes and our Terms & Policies.

Voting

Weekly Contest Voting

  • Voting is free; one vote per video per user.
  • All votes must come from verified accounts.
  • No bots, fake accounts, or manipulation.
  • Top Kat may remove suspicious or invalid votes at its sole discretion.

Pop-Up Event Voting (VIP Required)

  • VIP Pass required to vote during Pop-Up events.
  • VIP name/email must match the voter registration name/email inside the TK Talent Show App.
  • Mismatched VIP info = vote does not count.
  • Voting closes 30 minutes after the show ends.

Winners & Prizes

Weekly Prizes (Bonus)

  • Minimum 10 verified votes required for weekly prize eligibility.
  • Winner declared every Saturday around 11:45 PM ET after verification.
  • Paid the same night after votes are verified via Cash App, PayPal, or Apple Pay.

Prize Amounts (by plan at upload)

  • Bronze (Free): 20 Kat Kredits
  • Silver ($1.99/week): $10
  • Gold ($4.99/month): $20
  • Diamond ($49.99/year): $20

“Kat Kredits” are for tracking/engagement and have no cash value except as expressly redeemed through TK’s posted prize process.

Pop-Up Event Prizes (Bonus)

  • Audience Choice Winner: $100 cash bonus (most verified votes) when the minimum vote requirements are met.
  • Judge’s Pick Winner: $50 cash bonus (performance quality).
  • If one contestant wins both: total payout is $150.
  • Paid the same night after votes are verified via Cash App, PayPal, or Apple Pay.

Important Notice

If no contestant reaches at least 35 verified votes by the end of a Pop-Up Live Recorded Talent Show, Top Kat may do one of the following at its sole discretion:

  • Roll the $100 Audience Choice bonus over to the next Pop-Up Live Recorded Talent Show, or
  • Award the top 4 contestants with the highest verified votes $25 each (each of the top 4 must have at least 10 verified votes to be eligible).

The Judge’s Pick Winner will still receive $50. Top Kat may update this policy at any time without notice.

Limits & Verification

  • Maximum two (2) weekly wins per calendar month per contestant.
  • All votes and entries are subject to verification. Failure to pass verification may result in disqualification or forfeiture.

Ties

In the event of a tie, Top Kat may, at its sole discretion, divide the prize equally among contestants in the same tier, or award the prize based on the highest tier if contestants are in different tiers.

Prohibited Content

No nudity, sex, harassment, bullying, hate speech, pornography, abuse, terrorism, or exploitation of minors.

Disqualification/Ban

Top Kat may disqualify or ban at its sole discretion for rule disputes, disruptive behavior, or claims that conflict with posted terms. All decisions are final and non-negotiable. Top Kat may remove current and future entries and block new accounts intended to circumvent a ban, without refund.

Top Kat Spotlight TV series is coming soon (hasn’t started yet). We may feature select contestants when it launches; selections are discretionary and do not affect weekly prize eligibility.

Refunds

Refunds for app-store purchases must be requested through Google Play or Apple. Previously posted partial-refund windows may apply. No refunds for bans/disqualifications due to rule violations.

Geographic

Some countries cannot access subscriptions or paid prize rounds due to sanctions or platform limits. Top Kat may block or limit where required.

Submissions & Use

By participating, you grant Top Kat a limited, non-exclusive license to share and promote your videos and related clips on Top Kat/TK social accounts, website, and advertisements solely to operate and promote the contest. Top Kat does not claim ownership; you retain full ownership.

To request removal or edit of a repost, email tkt@mytopkat.com with the link. Top Kat processes removals within 24–48 hours.
